This wine bar made our meal an experience. They specialize in high-quality natural wines paired with authentic Pugliese small plates. This was my absolute favorite meal I had in Italy! The neighborhood atmosphere was not touristy and enabled a true Italian experience.

This spa is located in the Helvetia hotel in the heart of Florence, but underneath it are the remains of the ancient Capitoline Baths of Roman Florentia. I recommend the 2-hour spa and adding the Aperitivo at the end of your experience.

Bolo do Caco Grill & Pizza
This was my favorite restaurant in Madeira. We (with my husband) ate here twice. It's in São Jorge, Portugal, and worth the drive. If you are staying in the São Vicente area or visiting Santa, I highly recommend making the trip to Bolo do Caco Grill. This is a family-run business, and the owners are friendly and gave us suggestions of places to visit on the Island. The pizza is wonderful, but the famous Smash Burger. Truly the best burger I have ever had. Sit outside, have a Levied Cocktail, and enjoy the best food in Madeira.

PR 1 - Vereda do Areeiro
This is Madeira’s most famous hike, and for good reason. It is truly breathtaking. We hiked the PR 1 and PR 1.2, and they are just as stunning as the pictures. These hikes are a must-do in Madeira! If you are looking for a great levada hike, I highly recommend Levada Nova-Ponta do Sol.
